A Great Big Atlantic Odyssey Thank You

Dear Cornell Sailing Team,

It’s almost a year since we first met on the stopovers in Europe as part in the European Odyssey and then in Lanzarote as part of the Atlantic Odyssey.

As the SY ANNE family sailing team we wanted to say a big ‘thank you’ to you all. This whole trip has been a tremendous experience for the five of us and we really enjoyed taking part in the two Odysseys (European & Atlantic) with you last year.

Cornell Sailing will stay in our memories; on the one hand as a professional team with great seminars but also the friendly and family approach of everyone involved.

Kathy,
without your planning tips, we’d would never have gone to the Bahamas, which have been awesome.

Klaus, Roger, Pascal, John,
thanks for your great support from Hamburg via London / La Coruna to Lanzarote and finally Martinique! You couldn’t have done better!

And finally Jimmy,
thanks for the spirit you brought into the Odyssey team and the great vision of starting such a journey after everything you have achieved already. It has been a real pleasure to step into the blue ocean sailing with your guidance (books, speeches and personal discussions).

Even if we have sold ANNE already I’m pretty sure we’ll do it some day again.

Thanks to all of you
Annette, Stefan, Lasse, Neele & Torge

PS: Our former boat ANNE is already registered for the November start of the Atlantic Odyssey 2015, now called SLOWLY
